Dont suppose anyone has any info on Canada F.C From the Liverpool & District Sunday League.

Canada were formed in 1965 and take their name from the Canada Dock in Liverpool, as most of the players were dock workers. They started life in the Liverpool Business Houses Sunday league, which they won in 1966 and 1967. In 1970, they became the first Liverpudlian side to reach the semi-final of the FA Sunday Cup.

In fact, they are the 'nearly men' FA Sunday Cup, as they have played in four semi-finals in total but have never progressed to the final. They famously thrashed eventual winners, Gossoms End, 4-0 in the 2005 semi-final but were removed from the Competition, due to one of their players not receiving international clearance!

Their main goal threat is Steve Tames, who has scored 7 FA Sunday Cup goals this season.

Got their match from the last round of the competition against Queens Park on video. Won 4-1, same player got all four goals. Looked a decent side. Got it down and moved it about well.
