Brandon Sports 1-3 Sedgefield St Edmunds
With 9 players missing through, work, weekend away, and injury St Eds travelled to Brandon with 14 players and came away with a hard fought 3-1 win. Both teams could have had a free Sunday so credit due to both teams for making an effort to get a game played.

Beggars belief how Washington JFC sponsor a cup and the league can't even get their name right

Chester Plough Inn 4 v Chester St Cuthberts 2

2 nil down after 20 mins, good comeback especially with 9 players missing. Weve got a bit of an injury crisis at the moment, had 2 play with 2 unfit players and then lost another with knee ligament damage!

Is it true you can contact the league and have a month off if your struggling to get a team out???

Why have everyone got 9,10,12 players missing when they get beat?? Come on lads, you were beaten because you were not good enough on the day. Give credit to the opposition instead of making pathetic half squad missing excuses.

Oh by the way, team i follow had 15 missing out of our squad of 14!!!!!!!

EH, facts are facts mate whether you like them or not!! I'm sure opposition Clubs appreciate it that Clubs are working hard to try and sign lads on the day and to ask others who don't play regular to help them out when they are short.
I'm sure some Premiership clubs would more than appreciate Clubs doing this :D
Yes we were not good enough on the day, don't really need to say that as the result speaks for itself!!

Players missing is a big problem at our Club at the moment just to add insult to injury our goalkeeper broke his finger so he is now added to that list

I was thinking the exact same thing. I have played sunday footy the last 10 years in various leagues and can't remember too many occasions where we weren't missing a handful of players for one reason or another. Part and parcel of it, just get on with it. Playing for the Barley now it's a good job we don't have everyone there all the time as Baz probably has about 30 lads signed on!
