Amble Tavern v Witton Park Rose & Crown

Northallerton Police v Burradon & New Fordley

Dawdon Welfare Park v Newton Aycliffe Locomotion

Byes in to Round 2

There maybe more North East sides in the draw (for the full draw, go to my blog). The above sides are teams I know are from up there and a few I've guessed from the names!

Crazy goings on. Blue Star had to have a police escort out of Teeside. Machetes and possibly a gun brandished .

Not what you want to see at game of football, sounds mental.
On the other hand Dawdon V Aycliffe was a great example of football and i'm sure was enjoyed by those who watched it. Aycliffe took the lead after 15 minutes through Corey Nicholson then it was all Dawdon for the rest of the half who deservedly leveled through Craig Price free kick.
Aycliffe took control of the second half and Corey Nicholson got the winner 10 minutes from time.
The hospitality from Dawdon was top notch, lovely bait and yards of ale all round! a few sore heads all round this morning.

The Rearranged game between Thornaby Village & Wrekenton Blue Star didn't take place as Wrekenton Blue Star withdrew from the Competition

Yes due to many factors the game did no go ahead putting thornaby village through. God help anyone who draws them away! Very bad decision from Fa followed by even less support from fa, left the club with little choice but to withdraw. 1st time for me in this cup and to say it's left me a little bitter towards it is an understatement.
