To be fair Keith, Blue Star had 4 or 5 of Whickham's ex players playing as well. The whisper is your taking charge there next season so if true good luck next season.

Well done to all at the Commy and they may of had a lot of success over ten years but good lads like Ash, Bun, Jimmy, Karlos and many more have worked very hard to make it happen as well, shame another good Sunday side is folding but sadly its a trend that will see Sunday football die in the not too distant future imho.

Les it wasn't a dig at either just stating the fact a lot of them are at Whickham. We played them last week and at least 7/8 of starting 11 are at Whickham and 2 subs who came on are as well. Could have Been Whickham commercial!!
Les you know not to believe whispers!! I will defiantly not be taking over there next season. They have a good and successful management team in situ.
It's a shame the commercial are folding after 1season in 1st division. Congratulations to them on winning league.

 10 of the starting 11 last night have played for Whickham in the last 2 seasons with another 2 on the bench.

I think Blue Star had 6 starting as well: Larks, Donners, Skids, Swanny, Anth Falcon, Pattas played as well I think. Even the big fella (Dava I think)who's name I cant remember played once for us a couple of seasons ago. I guess Whickham do use 40 players a season though.

On the other point I simply heard Willa was moving on as he lives across in the Tyne valley now so it was a trek hence the need for a new manager, I stand corrected.
