Pelton 2 Hardwick Social Club 0. Becoming hard to stomach three final losses in a row. Five final losses in eight years. Disappointed for our boys as they are such a good, honest bunch of lads who ive got a massive amount of time for. Congratulations to Pelton, good group of local lads who stick together and work hard for each other. Im sure they celebrated it in style.

Really impressed with Hardwick, they controlled the majority of the game but the Buffs defended superbly and Scotty pulled off two cracking saves in the 2nd half to keep it 1-0 then the buffs sealed it late on with a very good goal.
Really good crowd there which was good to see.

Good sum up Maz. Felt for Hardwick they dominated the second half in particular but couldn't create enough and Pelton defended resolutely.

Sure the Hardwick boys bounce back!

Excellent summary Maz and was really a reflection of how I seen the game. Goals win games. Was disappointed with how we defended the first goal as it was very avoidable. But fair play to Pelton. They stuck together. Worked hard put there bodies on the line and ultimately can say something we cant that they've won the County Cup. Well dust ourselves down play in our league cup final this sunday, go again and hopefully go one better. I do have a fair collection of losers medals now.

Massive credit to your gaffer as well popped his head in to congratulate the lads after the game, which is never easy after losing a final.
Good set of lads your lot, good luck for sunday

That's me mate. I always try to be humble in victory and defeat. Made sure I went and seen the ref and his assistants to congratulate them and your side. No animosity, no issues with the ref, no issues with Pelton. The side who scores the most goals rightfully wins the game.
