Ryton and crawcrook Albion 1-2 south shields vets reunited.

Hardly a vintage game, but we are into the hat and that's all that matters!

Rolling Mill 0-7 Pelton Buffs

Easily the best we've played since ive been involved at the club, could have easily been 10 or 11 apart from a bunch of fantastic saves by the young keeper.

Many thanks to the mill lads for taking us round darlo, great craic and already preparing for the entertainment for the friendly in july

Was a good game to watch. Didn't see the first half but second half I thought we were the better team.

2-0 down, we got it back to 2-1.

The turning point was with 20mins to go, a free kick was fumbled by the keeper and on the follow up, somehow managed to toe or finger (just a small flick on the ball) and it bounced over the bar. A great save.
That then left us open at the back as we went on for the equaliser. I don't think you had a shot on goal second half until the last 10-15mins.

Was a great game of football. However spoilt by a referee. I say referee loosely as he hardly ref'd the game! Goal kicks given when it was a corner. Goal kicks given when the ball hadn't even gone out of play. One of our players was behind their man marking him, and kind of judo threw him backwards (wouldn't of looked out of place at the Olympics!). I started to bollock him for it. It turned out the ref had given the foul to us!!!

With a name like Earnest I suppose that's what you would expect!

All the best in the next round
