Seeing as it's a home game for the CW, I tend to think that home is a good place for the shooting boots to be! :wink:

Thornaby's goalscorer was Howard. Didnt go so can't comment on the match but lets move on to Tuesday's match against Chester Le Street. Come on Thornaby!

With a little bit of luck and better finishing, Thornaby could have had a 2-0 lead, having given the CW a few scares early on.

Match report by the University of Sunderland's Sportsbyte reporter is at http://sportsbyte.sunderland.ac.uk/?p=18035 but he names Michael Charlton as the first goal scorer when it was actually Richie Jordan.
