Synthonia made the short trip to Teesdale Park for this pre season friendly. Synners had the first chance in the opening minute which just went wide. Thornaby then had the next when Ritchie Walker hit a shot straight at Josh Moody in the synners keeper. Synthonia then opened the scoring when Steven Huggins scored from a chay Liddle corner with 17 minutes gone and the visitors then made it 2-0 when Andrew Burton hit a great shot which flew into the corner with 23 minutes. Thornaby then had the next chance when Gary mitchell's effort just went wide and the visitors then had the next chance when Henry had a free header which went over the bar and the visitors then increased there lead when Chay Liddle played a through ball which Liddle scored his second goal just before half time.

Synthonia then made it 4-0 when Jennings scored a back heal with 69 minutes gone. The visitors then made it 5-0 when Jameson scored with 72 minutes gone. The visitors then had a few more chances towards then end of the game.

Well won't say much as it was only a friendly but what i will say is that synthonia are the best side we have played in pre season so far. Goood luck to everyone involved with synthonia rekon you guys will have a good season.
