Thornaby welcomed Brandon United to Teesdale Park with the hosts looking to forget about recent results. Thornaby had the first chance of the game when Ian Clark played in a free kick which Danny Chapman just headed wide. Thornaby opened the scoring when Greame Baverstock played in a cross which Thad Taylor tapped home with 21 minutes gone. The hosts then had another couple of chances to double there lead when Ian Clark went on a run and hit a shot which Ryan Hinohaugh saved in the Brandon goal and Marcus Laing hit a shot which took a deflection which took it over the bar and the Teessiders then deservidly made it 2-0 when Ian clark tapped home from a cross just before half time.

Brandon had the first chance in the second half which just went wide. Thornaby then made it 3-0 when Marcus Laing scored 56 minutes gone. Brandon pulled a goal back when a corner was played in and Scott Hine headed home with 79 minutes gone. Thornaby then made it 4-1 when Thad Taylor got to the byline and hit a ball in which found its way in with 83 minutes gone. Thornaby had the next chance when a cross was played in and Darren Morton just couldent connect with the ball. Brandon had a great chance when Michol hit a free kick hich just went over the bar. Brandon pulled a second goal back when Mark Ferguson tapped home from a corner in the 5th minute of injury time.
Well what a result everybody played there part so we now have 35 points and i must say i really enjoyed watching us tonight all you guys should be pround of yourselfs so lets keep it up
