It was the visitors who started the better and took the lead within the first 30 seconds when Karl Charlton's cross from the left took a deflection and went as far as too JAMES ROWE whose left footed effort found the net. Hebburn had there first chance of the match when Chris Feasey cross was spilt by Liam Gibbs and the ball fell to Scott Wallace who blazed over the bar. Hebburn levelled the match when a cross from the left was headed home by CRAIG MALLEY with 24 minutes gone. Thornaby had the next effort when Nathan Evans corner from the left found the head off Michael Joseph but his header went straight into the hands of Steve Hubery. The Hornets then had the following effort when the ball fell to Chris Feasey in the box and he seen his effort from 8 yards superbly saved by Gibbs in the Visitors goal.

The home side had the next chance when Callum Smith's effort from 10 yards just went past the post. Thornaby defended well but unfortunately in the 92nd minute Hebburn won the game when a cross from the left found JAMES TALBOT who fired home.

Man of the match:Michael Joseph

Gutted for the lads as i felt we deserved a draw out of the match had good spells in the match and like i say we were unlucky to get nothing out of the match.
