CROOK TOWN 3 THORNABY 0 Thornaby started without leading scorer Gary Mitchell against an much changed home side who had the better of the opening exchanges , much of Thornabys approach work fizzled out on the edge of the area , and the home side were causing problems with the long ball over the top , chances were at a premium, but Crook were denied an penalty which was for a trip in the box after 40 mins .HT 0 -0
The second period saw the introduction of subs for Thornaby first Louis Johnson and then new signing from Redcar -Nico Wetherald Louis Johnson having an good shot saved after 80 minutes which was Thornaby first real attempt on goal but poor marking allowed Johnson to open the scoring 1-0, and in the final five minutes Brown and Christian Holliday made it 3-0 in an poor performance by the visitors to give the home side the first win in several games NO MOM

Very Very poor performance today never struck 3 passes together and in my opinion some players looked not up for the fight.

In my opinion the players have got have a good look at themselves tonight. Move onto another tough match next week

The players are a good set of lads and hopefully they will put it right for the rest of the season.
