Will be a tough match as Easington are a good side but under Burto we have got a few good results so you never know.

THORNABY V EASINGTON COLLIERY
The first home game of 2017 started in dramatic style with Easington going ahead after two minutes when an cross from the right was bundled past Daniel Bowman by Joe Kerridge . Thornaby were struggling to get into the game and went further behind when Aiden Goodey fired home to make it 2-0 after 30 mins , however after the kick off Thornaby replied immediately when Kark Charlton seized on to an through ball to slide the ball under Kyle Donaldson to make it 2-1 HT 1-2
The second half saw two quick goals for Easington with Joe Kerridge netting his second and Daniel Martin finishing an sweeping move to make it 4-1 . Chris Pearson added an fifth after 60 mins to make it 5-1 , Louis Johnson was replaced due to an face injury with Luke Hallett and a few minutes later James Rowe fired home for the home side to make it 5-2 and on 80 minutes sub Kurtis Howes finished an good move to make it 5-3 , however after 87 mins Jack Pounder hit an cross shot home past Bowman to make the final score 6-3 in an nine goal thriller .
A game of defensive errors with an few players looking very rusty for the home side
