Thornaby welcomed West Allotment Celtic with the hosts looking to get some much needed points. It was the home side who started the brightist when Gary Mitchell hit a shot the the keeper's right but Ames in the Allotment made a good save. Allotment had there first chance of the match when Liam hudson fired wide. The visitors then kept up the pressure on the hosts goal when a corner was whipped in and headed towards goal with Farrell making a comfertable save and Shaun Reid also fired over the bar for Allotment and the final chance also fell to the visitors when ex Morpeth player David Dormand tried to lob Farrell but he saved

Half time Thornaby FC 0-0 West Allotment Celtic

Allotment took the lead when Shaun Reid was fouled in the box and the latter dusted himself down to score the penna with 49 minutes gone. Allotment had a good chance it double there lead a few minutes after taking the leead when David Dormand hit the post and the visitors then desiverdly did double there lead when Liam Hudson got to the ball before Farrell and the ball found its way into the back of the net with 70 minutes gone. Thornaby had there first chance in the second half when Richie Walker hit a shot from 20 yards with Ames making a good save. Allotment then had two final chances to increase there lead when Bell hit a shot which Farrell saved and the final was from Hudson who fired over when he should have scored.

Well we were really poor on saturday we never got going with West Allotment being the miles better side and to be honest Allotment are the best side that we have played this season and will be up there coming the end of the season as for us we have 4 very tough matches coming up so lets try and see how many points we can get out of them.
