They wouldn't have what they have today without the help and input from the NRCFA, just another minor point they seem to forget about
Except thats not right though is it, the development was mostly funded by a football foundation grant, a major point that many people seem to forget about.

Footynut.......what the hell are you churning on about?
We are all grown men and for whatever reason youve got a sour taste in your mouth about whats happened.
As i said before, THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS IN FOOTBALL. You brush yourself off and get on with things.
You cant look back, you move forward, and thats what the club are doing.

Teds effort and desire have been second to none, Im sure it wont be long and he will be back in the game. He loves the game too much to just walk away.

Lets stop the tit for tat and look to the future,

quite right......just like its fair to assume that the nrfa wouldnt have what they have today without the help and input ( land) from stokesley sports club would it not?

Nrcfa own the land that the junior pitches are on.

I love you Footy nut. You are 100% right on what your saying. No money doesnt mean nobody wants to play though. Believe it or not, there are players out there who play football, because they love it. At least next season, the supporters will know the new group of players arent turning up just because theres money on the table.

Do you reckon your lads were like?? Most of the squad last season were the ones who got you promoted from NL2. Bit of a sweeping and damning statement to make and a slur on the character of a lot of lads, who, can not sign for anyone else until 1st June - so you do not know that they have left the club yet.

You'd be surprised how many lads play in this league for next to nothing and for a lot less than what people think.

CD, your a good lad as well :)........ im not slating any of the lads, you know and i know, there are lads at every northern league club who wouldnt turn up if money wasnt on the table. Thats not having a go at them, its a fact and every player has a different mentality. You can come for a trial if you like ;)

Not having a dig and wish everybody the best of luck for next season. It's good to hear that there are players out there that want to play for the right reason, the love of football and not just to bleed the clubs dry. I also understand the mentality of players going where they are offered big money, if the clubs are offering it then they aren't going to turn it down. Its just very hard to compete in 1st div of Northern League without the extra bit of quality that a bit of money will bring.
