2006-07 -

Transferred from North Oklahoma College, where he played from 2007-08. Named a Junior College first-team All-American as a sophomore, earning NOC Offensive Player of the Year and NOC MVP honors.

As a sophomore in 2008, set Northern Oklahoma school records for most goals scored in a season (28), finishing two-year career with a school-record 49 goals scored. As a freshman named to the NJCAA All-American National Tournament, All-District and All-Region teams. Also earned NOC Offensive Player of the Year in 2007.

Pre-College -

In high school, played at Northallerton College in Northallerton, England. Led high school team to the District Championship from 1999-2001. Northallerton also claimed Area Championship from 1998-2001, reaching the quarterfinals of the English Schools Cup in 2002.

Full name - Samuel Martyn Vernalls. Son of Martyn Vernalls and Ruth Hasney. Has one brother Thomas.

Born on September 18, 1985 in Ilford, England.

Information sent over by the player - sam studied nutrition. Got his bachelor degree in nutrition. he went on his own and got scouted when he was playing for crook town in the northern league in 2005 and then left in 2006 and finished my degree and playing in 2010.

All at SSC FC welcome sam to the club and look forward to seeing him develop on from his debut last night against Chester-le-street which seen SSC FC get their 1st win.
