Credit regarding your support, you soon went quiet though. How you have only lost 2 games this season is beyond me. Defence = hoof = target men. That is all you men do. We could of easily took 3 points with a weakened Fylde side. Goes to show a few signings end of this season and we'll be bang up their next. Your striker with the dark hair looked a decent player, as for the bald guy next to him he wouldn't get a game for us 8) your right back looked a fairly decent player as well and i still this season we have seen maybe two teams that have passed the ball better than us, anyway good luck for the rest of season

You're right of course, and congratulations in finding us out. We are indeed utter sh1te. You had the better of it in the first half, and looked better than the average Unibond side, but after half time, although not at our best, it was one-way traffic- you had one shot. As to noise, the only way I could tell that Michael Barnes had scored was because the ref was pointing to the centre spot, and again at the end, I presume all the home fans must have already left the ground- were there any there at all?

And your manager rates us the strongest team in the league by far: http://www.afcfylde.co.uk/latest-news/a ... ch/023.php

Looks like you're on your own, sunshine. :D

Fylde are a decent team to be fair and one of the few that actually play the "right way" against us

your right we were very ordinary yesturday, aswell as one tuesday which is a bit of a concern but we have been fantastic the vast majority of the season and usually play excellent football

Argue all day? I dont think so.

Just take a look at the league table pal.

We have taken 4 pts from you, including a complete mauling at the Shay. And your point came from a cross that held in the wind and looped in the net at about 2mph. Both teams struggled to play any football and instead resorted to using the wind (which plays a massive part at your very poor and exposed ground) and the massve slope.

Thank-fully we wont be visiting Fylde for a league fixture ever again.

Good luck

This is the arrogance and disrepect towards the opposition that I am referring to in the other post. We will meet again in the league, I'll put money on it. It may not be the same ground but we will be seeing you. Next year is going to be a much stronger Fylde team after a couple more additions and I do honestly believe we will be challenging for the playoffs. We have taken points off many of the top teams but we had a bad start to the season and we tend to drop points to the teams that we should be beating such as Salford City, Harrogate Railway and last week Garforth Town. We're feeling the teams out this season.

As for the match against you lot at "The Shay" we had a revolving door, an unsettled squad that hadn't gelled. Since then we have players that are beginning to gel and can play some really decent football, Kelham has come in and has taken over the club with Mick Fuller taking over with the assistant role. Things have changed alot at our club since we last met.

Come on the Fylde!!

Its no more arrogant or disrespectful than the tripe I have to put up with from fans of clubs at this level who all have a proportion of fans who take great delight in seeing us where we are and would love us to be stuck in these hell hole divisions for many years. I tried the nicey nicey approach last year but I didnt see any respect coming my way for my club so from now on I will call it as I see it. I am sorry if this offends you.

I love my club, I hate having to see us play against pub teams every week and long for the day when we become a Blue Square Premier team at the very least. You would feel exactly the same if you were a supporter of a club thats ended up where we have!

I hope you enjoyed your cup final and wish you all the best. We will NOT in a million years ever meet in a League fixture again.

Please take a look at the League Table tonight when we have crushed Radcliffe at home (also tonight is the opening of the new £5 Million 3,500 capacity East Stand) and Lacaster have been turned over against Bamber. Jordan who?!!

Tonight the Shaymen hit the summit where they will stay all season.

Er I think we all support a club that's ended up in this league......

......just that some have approached it from below as well as above.
