Not seen Fylde play yet under O'Hanlon but a decent start by the looks of things. So what's everyone's take on the team since the new year? Read the reports in the Gazette and they sound like they have turned a corner. A guy down the social club said the young players are doing well ... so will be there Sat against Warrington!

Oh and I turned up at the Birley before the game against Clitheroe but was told by the landlord the game was off - so much for a football fix on NY Day!

I'll be coming to see my first AFC Fylde game on Saturday so here's to hoping for a good game. Moved into the area about 6 months ago so thought I'd come down and check out a bit of Saturday afternoon footy.

Couldn't get over how many chances Fylde created today in the first 20 minutes - 6 chances I counted unbelievable how they lost! Enjoyed the game, good tempo from Fylde early doors, the pacy Barnes was a big improvement on what i've seen earlier this season and we really should have been going into half time with a lead. I suppose at this level now Fylde will pay for missed chances and it was a blow when Warrington grabbed that last minute winner. Think a draw would have been a fair result, good to see a few pool fans there today too.

Thought there fans were a vocal bunch and not bad crowd too at 241 expecially at it was bloody freezin - ah well will check the fixture list for next time I can get there but it really is a refreshing change to watch footie at this level.

Oh and a final thing all everyone was talkin about was Richie Allen and if he came back he would have had a hatrick today! :o

Yes he may have got a hat trick, but on the other hand, he may have been saving himself for a big sunday game for the Black Bull v The White Swan or whatever team he is now starring for.

You never know ?

Maybe Bloomfied ... maybe!

Oh and one other thing from yesterday which was dissapointing to hear. I was stood next to a group of 'supporters' behind the goal in the first half yesterday who were overheard critiscing almost everything from the players to the people running the club during the game- me and my mate thought god 'why bother' then, this club has achieved so much in a short space of time, don't know them but some people really moan about anything and everything!

Try sitting in the STAND, I have never seen such a bunch of moaning old farts, all game this is the type of poo given out, players are got at (5 mins into game) this and that is said about AFCF players and staff, Richie was ace could have got 4 today, Nathan cant play cos he is now signed at Freckleton (read the rules before opening gob grandad that is another league), the club is this and that, we pay good money to watch this rubbish, Fleetwood is this and that, etc.

I dont go as much to KP these days but when I do I always give support.

Yesterday I watched the 2nd half near the turnstiles just to stop listening to a bunch of old boring farts that looked like the 2 old sods off the muppets that use to give the comic bear a hard time.

RANT OVER
