Mick has said this morning that he has stepped down, but you have to guess it is a mutual consent decision

To quote MF earlier this season " If they want me to go they will have to sack me, because I wont resign "

It's a shame. Didn't someone say that the club were speaking with the Kendal Town manager?

Very surprised

Not too sure this is what is needed right now, the upheaval and change this season is fast becoming a joke.

Well it is certainly an end of an era and i think Mick deserves everyones thanks and congratulations on what he has given to the club and helped enable it to achieve footballing terms and also as an ambassador for the club.

That said i think the writing has been on the wall, with the departures of his assistant and coach and subsequent player merry go round that his time as manager was coming to an end. And even though, i would not class myself as a fan of DH, u certainly can not forget the massive investment and progression he has engineered to date. I think the appointment of O'Hanlon is his best coup yet and i expect that he will push the football team forward.

After the stormy waters before, given a little time, maybe there could be another surge forward?!

O'Hanlon seems very promising from his experience. Defo following how he gets on with the club.
