Just heard that Chris has left Bootle,and the club are looking for a new Manager.

In the past 4 Seasons under Chris, the club have won promotion to the Premier Division and finished 3rd,6th and 3rd in the subsequent three seasons.Not a bad record for any manager, at any level.

Whatever the reason.and that may become clear in time,Oby has given us some exciting moments in his time as manager of the Bucks.A more committed person you would go a long way to meet.I found him to be very approachable,always willing to explain his decisions,which,sometimes you might not have agreed with.

The Committee have got the unenviable task of filling Chris`s shoes.Any thoughts on who might apply for the job?.

From a personal point of view I owe Chris a big thank you for his advice and support with a family problem I was dealing with a year or so ago.Cheers Chris,I owe you a pint,or two.

Yeah seconded. Top bloke Oby and sorry to see him go. Love to know what happened but as much as I liked Oby the club still go on. Its a case of "the king is dead, long live the king"

Just noticed on the club website that applications for the Managers job have to be in by tomorrow evening(Thursday),so we shouldn`t have to wait too long to find out who our new `Gaffer` will be.

Usually speculation is rife,but on this occasion there doesn`t seem to be anything but a few rumours around.I wonder who we will get.

Let`s wish the Committee good luck in their deliberations,and let`s hope they come up with the man who can take us into the Evo-Stik!. No pressure from me then!!!!!.(LOL)
