Liam Blakeman has decided upon joining Hendsford Town after they approached him this week.
Hends are flying high in the Evo Stik Prem and in Liam's case its an opportunity he felt he couldn't let pass him by.
He has previous connections with the management and the financial offer were probably the two biggest pulls for him.
Little bit diassapointing for the bucks as Liam spoke about wanting to commit to us when he joined the club a couple of
months ago. To be fair he had constant interest in him since he came with the likes of Skem approaching him also.
Liam had done well in his short time with us but after speaking to our managemnt team they weren't hugely worried about the loss. Oby said Liam is an excellent player who keeps the ball well but in ll honesty he did not really stand out against the rest of the squad , this is not critsism of Liam more a compliment to our players as he at times struggled to get in the 11.He played more than he was on the bench though and continued to improve his fitness with every game so it was likely that he would only have got better , really nice lad too who fitted in well so it is bit diasspointing for me and he club , never the less we wish Liam well fo his futre and good luck too him

UP THE BUCKS !!!

Have to agree with Bootle FC Info.Com, although he is a decent player I dont think he would've played every game and if he's had a good offer at a higher level then it makes sense. I never felt he matched the effort of some of our other midfielders and if I was going to compare him to anyone in midfield it would be Princey who's a better player and gives us goals. Good luck to him, don't know him personally but believe he's a good lad......

Anyway, good 3 points yesterday keeps us top! Nice to see Docker on the scoresheet again (it's been a while).....how did we play?
