The Bucks continued on their 13 match unbeaten run against AFC.
Not the greatest of games but with us having not played in 3 weeks and the game coming the day
after xmas day it was probably the type of fixture we needed..In all honesty we did not have to play well
as AFC inploded and pretty much handed us the 3 points , two pens scored by Blacky and Byers with
a great left foot strike...3 players sent off in second half too for them..Felt a bit for the AFC gaffa in al honesty , if half his players had his passion they may not be in the position they are, equally though you can see he is feeling the pressure as some of the shouts to his players are a bit much and cant help ..We at Bootle though have nothing against them and do hope they improve and stay up , not easy and not much fun when nearer the bottom i would imagine but they are a better side than Atherton and St Helens so they may stay up
Were as with us we still seem really strong , changes yesterday with Tike, tommo , princey and foley not avail so several changes were made . lads who came in as always did well too...Runcorn Town next , heard today we will have a few defensive players out for next Monday , Tike injured and Miley, Esso & Sean away for the new yearso again there will be changes
December though only played 2 games wining 4 - 0 and 3 - 0 so lots to look forward to in 2012
