Had to laugh at the fans who left at half time because "they weren't staying to watch a match where the ref is cheating," part timers, I stay through all of those, haha. End of the day though the right team won with the right result. Nice one lads.

Got to say found AFC fans to be the most pathetic set of fans I have seen visit the delta taxis stadium.
I was standing by some of them in the first half, went and stood behind the goal for the second half because I was getting bored with the whinging and whining.
Good esult though even if IMO we where not at our best which begs the question if we beat them 3-0 when at our worst what would we do to them at our best.
Can't wait for the return leg and even if we where to be losing at the break you won't see me leaving at half time.
Up The Bucs

You can talk! The majority of the Runcorn Linnets fans are extremely odd!

I see your point, lol, but the fact that Runcorn Town are friendly and welcoming would seem to suggest that it isn't the whole of Runcorn that is odd.

Matt what does the SHT stand for after your name? Is it due to mods removing letters from possibly offensive words?

No, St Helens Town, once you have a name on here, seems you can't change it. Decent attempt at humour though, pat yourself on the back for that one!

So you are a St Helens Town fan who watches other teams rather than your own?

I was on the committee of St Helens Town up until a couple of years ago when the club and I parted ways. Bootle took me on I suppose you could say, and the rest is history.

Stirring again, Matty lad? Personally, I stayed till the bitter end.

Good luck for the rest of the season Bootle FC.

Wasn't you I was chuckling at then, there was only about 5 of them whom had probably come together in the first place. No stirring, just thought it was funny lol.

If what you say is true, Matty, then I'll be having a word or two with them myself.

True I'm afraid, just after Byers scored to make it 2-0, something about the linesman cheating by not calling him offside, so they said goodbye to a few people and walked out. I shouldn't have laughed out loud in retrospect, but it was just one of those things I couldn't help.
