Tremendous match at The Delta Taxis Stadium tonight which Bootle were desperately unlucky to lose in a penalty shoot-out.
The Bucks more than matched their illustrious neighbours and really showed that when the chips are down they can battle with the best.
The game was played with great spirit,with no cards shown to either side.
In short,Bootle Football Club were a credit to the North West Counties Football League,and to themselves.
Congratulations to Chris and the team for their excellent performance, and to all the volunteers who made the night such a huge success off the field.
I wish Everton all the best in the final against Tranmere Rovers.
