Thoroughy enjoyed a spirited performance that quietened the famous 'Ultras' not sure if I heard a whisper all game!

Despite an enforced change to the front line I thought 'Cozzie' did a great job of playing across the line and the fact we caused problems was justification for the work the lads put in. John, Jez, Fergie and Owen were superb across the back and what little Reece had to deal with he did brilliantly.

Two great goals and almost a snatched 3 points although a draw was probably a fair result!

It used to be 'We're bouncy bouncy bouncy....' Today it was ' We're muffled muffled muffled.............;

At 2-1 i was correctly advised by our chairman not to start singing "your not singing anymore" and if you heard the after match comments from their manager on the radio he was not bessed pleased even questioning the players commitment to wear the north shields shirt. A fantastic peformance from all the players and i have to agree a draw was a fair result. The atmosphere in the changing room after the game was buzzing and hopefully that will be carried into saturdays home game.

Good battle from the lads Saturday, against a team who are seeking promotion. Was a little dissapointed with shields whose only tactic was to launch long ball after long ball! The penalty was a poor decision as our keeper did clear the ball but shields may have had 1 just on halftime!

Thought the shields managers comments were a liitle far fetched as I am sure most of the Brandon players are happy in the dressing room they are in currently! Also we had a couple of late chances ourselves & on another day, may have finished it! Also we competed without a natural centre forward in our squad for the game & left it to captain fantastic cossy to fill the gap!
