Construction of the new terracing has started today in front of the stand. The terracing will extend from the access track next to the changing rooms right to the far end of the main stand and will include a disabled access route and a disabled viewing area. The work is being carried out to the same design as the new 'Wembley' but will be somewhat smaller. Please do not complain about the steepness of the terraces....they are built to the stadium design criteria.

Work should be complete in time for the next home game in 10 days time. There are U18 and reserve team games scheduled before then and for safety reasons (and not getting claggy with wet concrete) the stand will be out of bounds for these games.

Updates will be posted here!

Great news and well done to all those concerned in getting the club this far.

Now maybe some of those visiting supporters from last Saturdays game will shut the f*ck up.

Update: 20.3.12

Concrete will be poured all the way along past the canteen tomorrow and work will start on the 'Wembley' steps.

Work will still be ongoing on saturday so could all spectators please be careful entering and leaving the tea hut. This is in no way a comment on the excellent catering at Brandon!

All concrete should be dry enough to walk on by Saturday afternoon. You will be able to tell if it isn't because the people testing it will be stuck in it!!

You do know this is Brandon...? Against Alnwick?

I predict there will be more on the pitch playing than off it paying....

Sadly I won't be there (no more away games for me this season), but there will still be a handful from Alnwick. Shame as I would have liked to see the improvements being made, as Alnwick have also been making improvements to the ground in order to meet the grading standards.
