Firstly i would like to say a big well done to both sets of players for what was a decent game of football played under tricky conditions, it was a game that could have gone either way with the RA hitting the bar twice and the post once in the first half. But it was brandon who went in at half time two nill up thanks to a penalty from Mark Costello and a fantastic goal from Andrew Beamson which went in of the underside of the bar after a pinpoint cross from Jake Nicholson. The second half will be remembered for two incorect penalty descisions from the officials the first was given in favour or Darlington by the assistant when clearly the Brandon defender won the ball in the tackle, justice was duly done when Andrew Wilkinson saved the penalty down low to his right. The second penalty decision was after a clear trip on Andrew Beamson but the referee played on. A great result especialy after the disapointment of Thursday's game. Well done Brandon.
