also just to mention whilst on the subject of brandon, the reserves won on saturday 3-2 against washington town after 13 consecutive league defeats which will give a boost to our young squad. :mrgreen:

and the under 18s have won 1-0 at home tonight against gateshead leam rangers

I was at the U18 game tonight and I thought it was a decent game with two good young sides who were very hungry to win but played in a good spirit. I thought Brandon were the better side in the first half and Leam just shading it in the second. I thought the number 4 and 10 for Brandon were excellent, especially in the first half and wouldnt be surprised if they were in and around the first team in the near future if they havent been already.

the report from saturdays game:
Brandon Utd Reserves gained a much needed 3-2 win at the expense of Washington Town. Alex Hird deservedly put Brandon in front before Jamie Sherriff fired in an equaliser. Brandon then took control in the second half with goals from Cameron Annison and Daniel McDonagh, Jamie Sherriff hit an injury time consolation for the visitors.
