a very hard fought, but deserved victory against a useful horden today.how they are bottom belies belief.horden had the majority of the possession in the first half but we had the clearer of the chances and if it wasnt for tom orton then we would have been going in at least 2-0 up.second half we were the better side and more prominent in the attacking sense, and should have had a penalty for handball on the line.however, the winner came in the 82min from lewis wing, the 16 year old hitting a low 25 yard free kick past the keeper.we had a few nervous moments near the end,but held on for 3 great points that takes us up to 12th in the table but in the mix with the chasing group.good luck to horden,im sure they will be winning more games very soon, they have some very useful players.now we move on to the local derby v esh winning next saturday.

Cheers Barry,

I think the game was transparent from our Durham Challenge Cup tie when we closed all the available space and took our chances, Saturday the reverse as Brandon closed down all the available space with a doggered performance and deserved your win.

I don't know if we can ever find out but Lewis has to be close to Brandon's youngest northern league goal scorer.

He also has the worst goal celebration in the northern league! Awful!
