I like your confidence kenny. Have you seen Birtley in pre-season? I think we have improved greatly over the summer and am looking forward to the big kick-off!

I'm not too sure.

I am obviously hoping for a Brandon win - but have seen precious too little of them pre-season to make a proper judgement. IF we still make the same old mistakes at the back, then I fear for us. IF we can cut that out - we can have a great season.

After all that........ gonna go for a draw.

Good luck lads, hope you can get the first of many wins tomorrow.

Also, good luck to the reserves - lets make it 2 wins on the day

I really hope that Brandon do win today today but I think that Birtley will and by a 3-1 scoreline. Really sorry lads and I hope you all prove me wrong.
Good luck for the season though.

Paul Dixon scored both out goals in the 2-2 draw. No Pennock did not play. Don't think h was on the bench either.

I think I will let others describe todays game......

JP was in the reserves, I think he needs to get one or two games under his belt since his injury and Dicko got the goals.

paul dixon scored both goals in the 20th and 89th minutes,a deserved draw, if we could believe in ourselves we prob.would have won but never the less a very encouraging start against a decent enough birtley side.jonny pennock played for the reserves i think, dont think he is fully fit yet, they lost 3-1 to sunderland south in the durham alliance.
