another cup defeat but this one was totally deserved.we were very poor and west allotment were the better side by far,and were a far superior outfit than the team we beat comfortably a fortnight ago in the league.even an early goal couldnt spur us on.inconsistencies are our nemesis this season, totally destroyed darlington ra in the second half on saturday, then we turn up and deliver that.granted four main players were absent, and the manager used this game to give others a chance,3 up front failed miserably and in the end the second divisions top scorer was on the right wing and totally out the game.also discipline(or lack of it) reared its ugly head again, some of us really have behave to on the field, two sending offs left us with an even steeper uphill climb, and the bickering was back.we all get frustrated but we have to channel that in the right way.gods knows what the watching internet viewers thought.iv said it before we need a stable 16 moving forward, however, suspensions and unavailibility will now kick in.massive game once again on saturday against much fancied blyth afc at home ko 3pm.

two bookings in 3mins for jason white, both silly fouls in midfield.steven turnbull got the ball but the ref said hed gone in two footed.i havnt seen the pictures on the internet,so hopefully someone can clarify the refs decision.the lad he tackled was obviously hurt.

Not like Jay to get a red that’s the only reason I asked mate.

Can't see much from the Turnbull incident ,
even winning the ball these days comes under
dangerous , excessive force , reckless and out
of control . Probably a bit of all of them together
with a bit of the ball.
Most refs will give the foul and a yellow or a red
Depending on how they view it .
There had been a couple of incidents leading up to it and the game was becoming a bit fractious.
That could influence the referee as well .

I know what you mean mate.

Just read about Lee resigning, all the best in the search for his replacement
