Easington 1-0 Scarborough

Good result good performance and our first clean sheet this season looked strong at the back restricting the leaders to 1 or 2 chances all game whilst creating numerous chances to kill them off ourselves good 3 points which makes our start to the season a little better Guisborough at home Sat need the same performance again and get ourselves on a winning run to close the gap at the top.
Scarborough were a good organised young team and obviously with experience are going to get better they have had a great start to the season and will be thereabouts come the end of the season with like ourselves promotion in mind,it was great to see them bring such a good following for a midweeker in awful weather makes for a better atmosphere,great touch from there Secretary/Committee as well they brought some programmes with them for us to sell our Committee were impressed,look forward to our return trip at your place which im sure will be another good footballing game.

Took in the Easington v Scarborough Town match last night, along with a mate from Macedonia, probably the first Macedonian to watch Easington!

Very competitive game and enjoyed my first ever Wearside league match. I'm normally a Northern League man.
